The house dates to 1895 and the interior retains period details including cosy fireplaces and spectacular architecture but is beautifully refurbished to suit modern living. Enjoy lavish dinner parties in the wood-panelled dining room, luxurious bedrooms and strolls in the peaceful grounds. There’s also a drawing room and a games room with comfortable seating and a grand oak fireplace, plus a snooker table. Should you need to catch up on work or simply fancy reading a book quietly, there’s a study too.
A modern and well-equipped kitchen offers everything you, or a private chef (if you opt to hire one), could need to create delicious meals for everyone. There’s a morning room next to it, ideal for taking time out with a coffee.
The house has nine bedrooms. One is on the ground floor and is a double with an en-suite shower room. The other eight are on the first floor, accessed via the striking carved staircase in the hallway. Three are super-king-size bedrooms with en-suites and one king-size bedroom with an en-suite, while three further king-size bedrooms and one double bedroom share two bathrooms.

A member of staff will greet you on arrival and show you into the property. For security purposes the gates must be kept shut at all times, cars will be detected automatically when leaving the property and a temporary code will be issued for entry/exit via foot.

The property is located at the edge of a quiet village near the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk to neighbouring villages and work up an appetite for lunch at one of the country pubs, while the wider area is fantastic for hiking, cycling and horse-riding.The local high street, approximately a 10-minute drive away, is where you will find a large supermarket and several bars and restaurants. Meanwhile, the affluent and thriving market town of Reigate is also about a 10 to 15-minute drive from the property. Here, you can easily spend a day perusing the independent shops on the high street and picking which cafe, restaurant or pub to find your next refreshments.
