The cottage is a detached bungalow that has a fresh, modern, and stylish decor with lots of home comforts.

Step into the hallway, kick off your shoes and hang up your coats. Then, relax in the open-plan lounge/dining room. Sit down on the comfy sofa, or if you prefer, the antique armchair. Settle down for a family night in front of the TV which has Freeview channels and Netflix.

When it’s time to eat, the dining area has a large dining table with plenty of space for all of you, while patio doors lead into the conservatory at the back of the house.

Family meals can be whipped up in the light, modern kitchen which features oak flooring and is well-equipped with all the modern conveniences you’d expect including a double oven and grill, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a coffee machine and a dishwasher. There’s also a breakfast bar with stools which is the perfect spot to grab a quick snack or keep the cook of the group company.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, views over the rear patio and an en-suite shower room with WC and basin. Bedroom 2 is a double room and Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom with two single beds; both rooms overlook the front garden. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, WC, and basin.

In addition, in the garage, there is a utility area with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer – ideal for cleaning wetsuits, wellies or the dog, plus windbreaks for use on the beach and room to store bikes.

Outside, there is a front lawn, while at the back of the house French doors lead onto decked area with patio furniture and a BBQ where you can spend time chilling out.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Check-out: by 10:00

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.

The neighbourhood

The cottage is located in the small village of Tudweiliog, at the northern end of the Llyn Peninsula, close to the popular seaside villages of Nefyn, Aberdaron, and Abersoch. Towyn beach at just over a mile away is the closest beach where there’s plenty of fun building sandcastles in the summertime or enjoying a bracing walk in cooler weather.

Cwt Tatws café and shop at the entrance to the beach is great for an ice cream in summer or a warming hot chocolate in winter. A short drive leads to Porthdinllaen beach where the award-winning Ty Coch pub is a ‘must-do’ for visitors and locals alike. Enjoy your favourite tipple and homemade food with the sand between your toes. For those seeking greater solace, head to the quieter coves of Porth Ysgaden and Porth Colmon where you can simply enjoy the sea lapping the sand and rocky outcrops.
