Steward's Cottage is an attractive brick built property set in the grounds of a country estate in Herefordshire. The cottage has an enclosed garden area with hot tub and sauna and the front of the property overlooks a pretty small pond and surrounding countryside.

This luxurious cottage makes a wonderful home for up to 8 guests. To the ground floor there is a large fully-fitted kitchen/dining area finished to an extremely high standard and floors laid to porcelain tiling. There is a range of quality fitted units, integrated appliances, island and table with seating for 8 guests. With the same exquisite flooring leading through to the large lounge area with its cosy wood-burner, double doors and conservatory opening into a good sized enclosed garden and garden furniture.

Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The master with super king size bed, luxury linens, stand alone Smart TV and ample wardrobe and drawer space. A second double room with with wardrobe, chest of drawers and wall mounted TV boasts a luxury fitted en-suite comprising bath with over-head shower, WC and wash hand basin. The ground floor also has a WC with wash hand basin.

To the first floor via a carpeted staircase are two more standard double rooms again furnished to a very high finish and both with a wall mounted TV. Both rooms have a zip link bed that can become a twin. One room has an en-suite wet-room fitted with walk-in shower, WC and wash hand basin. The other room has access to the main bathroom comprising bath with overhead shower, WC and wash hand basin.

There are multiple car parking spaces and two well behaved dogs are welcome.

The property is accessed via a private entrance and a member of the estate staff will be on hand to meet and greet guests on arrival.

The property benefits from solar PV panels and is heated by a biomass central heating system. If you'd like to offset the carbon emissions from your trip get in touch and we can arrange this for a small fee.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

  • Strictly no smoking on all the premises or grounds
  • 2 dogs are permitted at an additional fee of £30 per dog
  • Dogs should never be left unattended and are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. They can run free in the enclosed garden but must be kept on a lead at all other times and are not allowed near any of the areas where sheep graze
  • No parties or events
  • Please keep noise to a minimum

Stewards cottage is in a perfect setting on the Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire borders. Sitting in its own private estate in a charming village. There are numerous walks both inside the grounds and the surrounding local area. Local festivals from food and beer to singing can be visited at certain times of the year. Ideally situated to visit local restaurants, National Trust establishments and attractions or just enjoy the amazing landscape and a have a well earned relaxing stay.

We recommend travelling by car so that you can easily explore the local area. There is private parking for multiple cars at the property. The closest town and rail station is Leominster which is 15 minutes by car/taxi.
