Grange Cottage is a newly renovated, single-storey house which combines a harmonious blend of original character and charm with modern interiors and touches. Along with four en-suite bedrooms, there is plenty of space to socialise and relax with your nearest and dearest. Should you wish to explore the area, country walks begin from the doorstep, while the nearest pub is just a stone’s throw away for home-cooked food and local tipples. The pretty village of Hamble is also close by and offers a host of gourmet restaurants and champagne bars with the River Hamble as your backdrop.

The property begins with a spacious entrance hall, paving the way to the abundant social spaces this wonderful house has to offer.

The open-plan kitchen/dining room is modern and fully-equipped with high-tech appliances, including two ovens, a coffee machine and an induction hob in the centre of the island, while the large dining table seats 10. The room is bright and welcoming, with access to the front garden through the large French doors.

Venture through a set of double doors which leads to two living spaces. The first of which features two comfortable sofas, two armchairs, a Smart TV and a roaring open fire for chillier nights.

Meanwhile, the reception room is located next door with ample seating and characterful vaulted ceilings. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind and plan your next adventure.

There are four uniquely designed bedrooms, all of which feature an en-suite shower room except the master bedroom which also has a bath. The master bedroom is complete with a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a super-king-size bed and is located off the entrance hall, the third bedroom has a king-size bed, while the final bedroom has a double bed.

Outside, you will have access to a large garden, with a lawned area, BBQ and seating. You’re just a stone’s throw from the River Hamble and the slipway, so feel free to use the paddleboards provided and take your adventure one step further.

There is a lock box which you can access on arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The house is located in Old Bursledon, a quaint village on the River Hamble in Hampshire. The nearest places to eat are The Jolly Sailor (as seen in Howards' Way), which serves classic favourites with waterside views and The Vine Inn – a cosy pub serving home-cooked food and local ales.

For boaters, the River Hamble is on the doorstep which leads to the Solent, a haven for exploring the South Coast and the Isle of Wight alike. If you are keen to get on the water boat charter can be arranged at the Marinas for a trip over to the Isle of Wight exploring all it has to offer including the bustling seaside town of Cowes, Yarmouth and the famous Hut restaurant in Colwell Bay.
