The Vault is a stylish luxury apartment in the centre of King’s Lynn that’s perfect for a single person or a couple to spend a long weekend exploring the town, as well as Norfolk’s historic attractions and beaches.
A little gem if you like places that are a little bit quirky. As part of a former Victorian bank built in a Tudor Gothic style, the apartment retains period features including full height ceilings and beautiful arched windows. Yet it’s furnished in a boutique style and made for contemporary living. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the historic town of King’s Lynn and is within walking distance of The Quay area, The Walks park and the theatre, as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. With the train station nearby, too, a car isn’t essential, and you can easily catch the coastal bus to visit Norfolk’s stunning beaches.

This one-bedroom apartment is set out over two levels. On the ground floor, there’s an open-plan living area with sofa seating, a widescreen Smart TV and a table with stools where you can sit and eat whilst watching the comings and goings on the street outside.

Just off the living space (and open to it) is a modern kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

There’s also a contemporary shower room with a shower cubicle, washbasin and WC, as well as a shaver socket and heated towel rail.

Upstairs, on the mezzanine level, is the sleeping area which overlooks the living area. Here, there’s a king-size bed, along with a wardrobe and drawer space to keep your belongings tidy.

There isn’t any outdoor space at the property, but this apartment is all about enjoying town living and you can easily walk to pubs, restaurants and shops within a minute or two.

There is a lockbox where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The neighbourhood

The apartment is mere footsteps from the Saturday Market Place and is in a prime position for exploring everything that the historic town of King’s Lynn has to offer. The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are no more than a couple of minutes’ walk away and the theatre is not much further. So too is The Quay area and The Walks which is a Grade II listed park that dates back to the 18th century and is well worth a visit.

For fresh air and stunning views, head to the Norfolk coast which is about a 15-minute drive away by car or can be accessed on the local bus service. From here you can visit beautiful beaches, many of which are a haven for waterbirds, including Snettisham, Hunstanton and Brancaster.
