A charming three-bedroom oasis privatised by magnificent dry stone walls, this stunning cottage is nothing short of enchanting.

A sizable living area marks the centre of the ground floor, with cosy tub chairs and a sumptuous sofa in which to enjoy the roaring log burner. Stone slabs ground the floor, while a collective of luxurious soft furnishings make for a particularly snuggly look and feel. Peeling yourself away from the comfort of the lounge may prove a trying task, but with plenty more on offer, including the fully-equipped modern kitchen area, venturing beyond the plush sitting area is a must.

With its high gloss cabinetry, downlighting and attractive breakfast bar, the kitchen area is so much more than just a cooking space - it’s a classic-meets-contemporary social hub, pristinely appointed and packed with high-quality appliances. Rustle up a fine feast and serve upon the glass dining table, raising a toast to magical moments shared. Alternatively, if the weather permits, venture out through the floor-to-ceiling patio doors and onto the terrace area for a spot of alfresco dining.

Downstairs you’ll also find a stylish atrium. Boasting a unique, glass-topped well, this stunning space welcomes sunlight to stream in freely, while the beautifully decorated dining area presents the perfect spot to indulge.

There’s also a handy downstairs bedroom. Complete with a queen-size bed, this beautiful chamber is adorned with irresistible country charm and an en-suite shower room.

Upstairs, there’s a continuation of the ‘old-meets-new’ theme, with carefully considered furnishings, adornments and a soothing neutral colour scheme present in every room. The master bedroom is effortlessly welcoming and features a king-size bed, while the family bathroom is complete with a bath and a separate shower. As we meander along the upstairs hallway, we are greeted by a third and final queen-size bedroom.

Outside, the magic of the cottage continues to unravel. From the open-air dining setups to the pristine patio and of course, the calming assortment of plants and verdure, if it’s at all possible, this cottage is as marvellous on the outside as it is within its walls.

There is a lock box which you can access on arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

Listed buildings pepper the ancient village, with the church of St Peters (c1100) welcoming village dwellers to sample Southrop’s rich history. Alternatively, if it’s something a little tastier you wish to sample, The Swan pub is just a short walk from the cottage and serves a menu of delicious, locally sourced delights.
