Muscari Cottage is a ground-floor, studio apartment housed in the beautifully restored, original stable block along with four other cottages (there are eight in total at the estate). Inspired by The Orient, this opulent abode is like a suite in a boutique country house hotel and features exquisite details including bespoke wallpaper and a bathtub in the room. Enjoy romantic strolls in the estate’s gardens and admire views of Glamorgan’s Heritage Coast, before getting cosy indoors. Meanwhile, days out can be enjoyed at local beaches, the Wales Coastal Path and the historic town of Cowbridge.

This self-contained, studio-style property is on the ground-floor of what was the original stable block of the estate which housed the carriages.

An Oriental theme runs throughout and features include a low-level, king-size bed, while the mini-kitchen, equipped with a microwave, 2-ring electric hob and small fridge, is discreetly concealed inside a Japanese-style cupboard.

A bath tub in the room, plus a luxury en-suite shower room complete the scene for a stay full of relaxation and indulgence.

You will also have access to a separate, shared, laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board situated in the outer courtyard. Meanwhile, the estate’s 9 acres of gardens and grounds are perfect for a quiet stroll, a picnic or admiring the sunset over the sea in the distance.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The estate grounds and gardens are communal and are available to guests of the manor house and all the apartments and cottages at the site.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £300 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The property is part of a country estate with a Georgian Grade II* listed Manor House and 9 acres of grounds. You are welcome to take a walk around, explore and ‘meet’ the resident alpacas, sheep, chickens and ducks.

Situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, the property is close to fantastic country and coastal walks including the short walk to the pebbly beach of Limpert Bay. From here there are spectacular views across the Bristol Channel to Exmoor and Minehead.
