Set within 30 acres, that used to be a vineyard, the cottage is part of a small collection of holiday properties at the site but enjoys its own secluded spot, perfect for a romantic break. The design is quirky and the surroundings will instantly immerse you in nature through woodland walks on the estate and the soothing sounds of birdsong to relaxing in the hot tub beneath a star-studded sky. Meanwhile, the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum is only a five-minute drive away and the location is also superb for exploring the Jurassic Coast.

A bespoke, hexagonal, wooden cottage designed in the style of a treehouse, this property is quirky, cosy and ideal for escaping modern-day life for a while.

It has a light and airy feel, with neutral tones that add to the sense of calm instilled by the location, while accommodation is set out over two levels.

On, the ground floor there is an open-plan living space. Sink into the sofa and enjoy a coffee as you plan your day, or there’s a Freeview TV so you can watch your favourite programme.

The modern kitchen area is stylish and equipped with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine and a toaster so that you can easily cater for all your meals if you wish. There’s also a dining table and chairs to seat two.

A spiral staircase leads upstairs to the first floor where you will find the bedroom which is the true heart of the treehouse. From the double bed, there are views through the trees from several windows.

There is also a shower room with a shower cubicle, sink and WC.

Outside, you can take advantage of your private garden, surrounded by trees. With a hot tub, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, you can relax with a glass of wine, enjoy some stargazing and take a long soak.

There is also a dedicated parking space for one car.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in. The cottage is set on a country estate shared with several other holiday properties.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The property enjoys a quiet, rural location on a private estate surrounded by woodland with walking trails. There are plenty of country walks to enjoy locally and pubs and restaurants just a 5-minute drive away.

For a change of scene, the small Georgian town of Blandford Forum, set on the banks of the River Stour, is only about 2 miles away. Here you will find a range of independent shops and boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as a variety of outdoor markets held throughout the month. The town is also home to the Hall and Woodhouse Brewery and shop where you can buy local ale to enjoy back at the property.
