The Hangout Hut is a luxurious, custom-made hideaway with hints of rustic chic throughout. Built with only the finest materials, enjoy a light and cosy space with everything you need and nothing you don’t.
The property begins with an enclosed, patio and garden, perfect for your four-legged friends to explore. Enjoy gorgeous views of the farmland in the swaying egg chairs, relax in the wood-fired Swedish Hikki hot tub at sundown or whip up a delightful feast on the BBQ.
As you enter the shepherd’s hut through the oak double doors, you are immediately greeted by an emerald velvet sofa and a wood-burning stove, perfect for getting cosy after a crisp walk through the countryside. The bespoke, country-style kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, a hob, a kettle, a coffee machine and a fridge. Rearing off the kitchen is a wet room with a collection of luxury toiletries to enjoy.
The king-size bed is dressed in soft, white bed sheets so you can take in the stunning views, drift off to sleep, or watch a good film on the Smart TV in comfort.
At the front of the property, you will have access to two designated parking spaces. There is also a shared courtyard just a short walk away, which can be used by all guests staying on the farm. Here you will have access to a comfortable garden furniture set and an outdoor dog wash, ideal for mucky paws after a stroll through the countryside.

The shepherd’s hut has been designed and produced especially for the farm by a family-run hut manufacturing business in Somerset. Along with this, the property has adopted many environmentally friendly measures including a biomass boiler, a wood-fired hot tub using local and recycled timber, refillable toiletries to avoid plastic waste and the restoration of original materials throughout.

The shepherd’s hut is located on a working farm with livestock. Therefore, your dogs must be kept on a lead. Upon arrival, the owner will notify you of designated areas available for you to walk your dogs.
Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
