Exceptional Service

Our award-winning Guest Services team will not only help you find your dream holiday but will support you through every step of your stay.

As you step inside the open-plan cottage you will be greeted by an elegantly designed lounge/kitchen with a tastefully redesigned blacksmith’s fireplace taking pride of place. Along with this, there is a sumptuous sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV, perfect for snuggling up after a day in the countryside.

Meanwhile, the kitchen features everything you will need to self-cater, including an oven, an induction hob, a microwave and an instant boiling hot water tap, whilst the views overlook the idyllic lake.

In keeping with the open-plan theme, the king-sized bedroom is located through an archway and carefully designed to feel luxurious and relaxing. The bed is placed against a feature wall, which divides the space into two. On the other side, there is a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, a roll-top bath and a vanity table.

Outside, you will have access to a spacious courtyard and a four-seating dining table that’s ideal for alfresco dining.

There is a lockbox with a key for a self-check-in and there is a member of the estate team on hand who can help during working hours if you have any queries.

Your parking spaces are located outside your cottage. You will be able to explore the grounds freely; however, the South Garden is for private use by the family.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Check-in: from 16:00
Check-out: by 10:00

You will also be able to use the tennis court, but the time must be pre-booked with the owners. Please note that there are two other holiday cottages within the grounds.

A dog lives on the estate, but with 19 acres of gardens, there is plenty of space for him and all guests to enjoy.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

The neighbourhood

The nearest town is picturesque Nantwich which is about a 5-minute drive away. It’s famous for its medieval timbered buildings and offers a choice of places to eat and drink, as well as an array of shops including antique and craft shops.

If you’re looking for a good walk, take a drive of around 15 minutes and join the Sandstone Trail, which stretches for 34 miles from the market town of Frodsham to Whitchurch in Shropshire in its entirety. The trail follows Cheshire’s Sandstone Ridge and offers spectacular views of the countryside. Or, take a stroll in Delamere Forest which is also home to Go Ape where thrilling adventures in the treetops can be had along rope walkways and zip-wires.
