This lovingly converted Grade II-listed barn, that dates from the 1860s, is full of character and retains an array of period features. Ideal for a family or small group of friends looking to holiday in the Suffolk countryside, the property has everything you could need. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms, luxurious touches including underfloor heating and a gorgeous garden with a patio. Meanwhile, the pretty, historical town of Woodbridge is a short drive away and the famous Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is around a twenty-minute drive.

The barn is fully modernised, elegantly decorated and has a light and airy feel. However, it retains a wide array of the original features of its former life as a cart lodge.

Open up the front door into the entrance porch where you will find ample room to hang up coats and store your boots. In the cupboard, there’s a selection of board games to play with later.

The main living area is open-plan and features the original beamed, vaulted ceiling. Get comfortable on the sofa and settle down with a glass of wine to watch one of your favourite programmes on the large TV. There is also a dining table and chairs with plenty of space to enjoy your evening meal, whilst double French doors lead out onto the front patio which has a seating area.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, filter coffee maker, kettle and toaster, plus room to store your groceries.

With two bedrooms, each at opposite ends of the property, you are guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep. The bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, are light and bright and each has its own shower room with walk-in shower.

The large, enclosed rear garden is beautifully planted and has a patio area that’s ideal for dining al fresco or enjoying a sundowner whilst watching the sun set at the end of a busy day exploring. A couple of sun loungers are also provided so you can totally chill out.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to
their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The property is located in Hasketon, in a picturesque part of rural Suffolk and is walkable to the village’s gastro pub as well as shops including an excellent fishmonger and a craft gallery/shop. More good pubs and restaurants can be found a short drive away, including in the pretty market town of Woodbridge, 5 minutes away.

Woodbridge also has an array of cafes, as well as convenience stores and local shops where you can stock up on groceries, fresh produce and essentials.
