As you step through the front door into the country-style kitchen/breakfast room you are greeted by gorgeous stone walls, exposed wooden beams and a four-seater dining table. For budding chefs or experts alike, there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to whip up a delicious feast, including an oven, a 5-ring gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a coffee machine.

The reception room offers a beautifully decorated living space, complete with neutral colour tones and hints of tiffany blue. Enjoy sipping champagne and reminiscing good memories on the soft two-seater sofa or single armchair, both perfectly positioned in front of the cosy wood-burning stove. There is also another four-seater dining table and chairs with views of the stunning private garden.

On the first floor, you will find an additional sitting room, complete with a deep purple two-seater sofa and two inviting armchairs. There is an electric fireplace, a Smart TV and an honesty bar, where all proceeds are donated to Emmaus UK.

Next door is the first of three bedrooms with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a Smart TV and chic white décor for that extra cosy touch. The second floor comprises two double bedrooms, both complete with exposed wooden beams, a Smart TV and cosy linen sheets.

There are two shared bathrooms, one on the first floor with a shower over the bath and one on the second floor with a free-standing bath. They are both well equipped with fluffy towels and luxury eco-friendly toiletries.

Outside is an enchanting, south-facing garden, bursting with roses and perfectly preened hedges. Enjoy a freshly ground coffee under the garden arch, admire the plinthed statues immersed in a bed of blooms and relax with your favourite book on the comfortable patio set.

Location

The neighbourhood

The cottage is located in the small, beautiful and historic Cotswolds town of Painswick where Cotswold stone buildings meet narrow roads and cobbled lanes. The town is famous for its 99 Yew trees that grow in the churchyard and the legend goes that if a 100th tree is planted the devil will prevent it from growing.

There are grocery shops and dog-friendly pubs, while a market is held every Thursday morning at the Painswick Centre. If you want to treat yourself to Afternoon Tea or a special dinner, head to The Painswick’s fine dining restaurant.
