The Main House

Set behind private gates, your journey begins with a long driveway surrounded by vast woodland for ultimate seclusion.

Step inside the bright and airy entrance hall, complete with double-height windows, an oak staircase and underfloor heating paving the way. From here, continue into the open-plan kitchen/dining room where you’ll be blown away by the immaculate presentation, high-tech appliances and panoramic views through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The kitchen comprises a large American-style fridge, an induction hob, two ovens, a microwave and a coffee machine, while the dining table comfortably seats ten with the rolling countryside as your backdrop.

Double doors lead to the stylish sitting room, beautifully appointed with an L-shaped sofa, a large Smart TV and a modern wood-burning stove for that extra cosy touch. It doesn’t stop there, head to Winston’s, your very own, fully-stocked honesty bar where you can enjoy time together with your favourite tipple in hand.

Meanwhile, the small, in-house gym features weights, a rowing machine and a Watt Bike for a complete workout. To keep the younger guests entertained, there is also a games room with a pool table and a Smart TV.

Upstairs, there are five individually designed bedrooms with chic décor and breathtaking views. The master bedroom comprises a super-king-size bed, a Juliette balcony and an en-suite bathroom. Along with this, there is a super-king bedroom that can be arranged into a twin and three king-size bedrooms, two of which have an en-suite shower room.

The Cottage

The self-contained cottage is perfect for anyone wanting a little bit more privacy when travelling with a group. There’s a small kitchen with everything you will need to self-cater, a cosy lounge and a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. You’ll also benefit from a private ‘tree house’ veranda with a bistro set.

Outside

The open-plan living space in the main house leads out to the large terrace which features an outdoor dining table, an open-fire cooker and a BBQ for alfresco meals. The jewel in the crown at this magnificent abode is the heating infinity pool which can be enjoyed all year round for leisurely swims, while also providing the best spot for admiring the western sunsets. Along with this, there is a large lawn, perfect for garden games on a warm summer’s day.

There is a lock box which you can access on arrival.

The swimming pool is heated all year round with a highly efficient Air Source Heat Pump.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £3,000 prior to their stay.

The House is located in Amberley, a pretty village near Stroud. You can enjoy picturesque walking routes from the doorstep, while a selection of pubs, including The Old Lodge, The Crown Inn, are a stone’s throw away. If it’s fine dining you prefer, the Michelin Star restaurant, Wilder, is just 1.2 miles away.

Woodchester Valley Vineyard is overlooked by the house and is well worth a visit. Here, you can enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard and tasting experiences at any time of year. Please note, this is a very popular activity so must be pre-booked in advance.
