Manor House

This spectacular abode displays a harmonious blend of traditional architecture and modern elegance. The high ceilings, arched stone windows and striking antiques are a nod to its Victorian heritage, while the opulent interiors and neon lights add the stylish finishing touches.

The grand dining room sits in the heart of the home and provides the perfect setting to entertain and socialise. Seating up to 36 guests, you can gather here for a delicious banquet with the ambience of the crackling log burner and Lake Windermere as your backdrop.

Once replenished, continue your evenings in the cocktail lounge where you can sip drinks until nightfall and chat about your day under the glow of the glistening chandelier and neon wall sign. Meanwhile, the luxurious living room is a comfortable space to relax and unwind with its additional log burner, sumptuous sofas, Smart TV and stunning lake views.

The large kitchen and utility room provide everything you need to self-cater with ease, including a double cooker, coffee machine, dishwasher, wine cooler, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer.

There are multiple rooms with entertainment for the whole group to enjoy, including an impressive cinema room with Netflix, a basement games room with a pool table and table football, a playroom with board games and a Smart TV with PlayStation and an eclectic library.

The house features 15 luxurious and individually designed en-suite bedrooms. There is one accessible bedroom on the ground floor with a large wet room and direct ramp access from the car park. Meanwhile, the remaining 14 bedrooms are spread over the first and second floor with king-size beds (11 are zip and link and can be formed into twin beds on request). All en-suites have a walk-in shower and two have roll-top bathtubs.

Apartments

There are two stunning, self-contained apartments, each with its own open-plan kitchen/diner, Smart TV and modern bathroom. The first apartment accommodates four guests with a king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom, while the second apartment accommodates two guests with a king-size bedroom.

Outside

You will have access to a large, private garden with panoramic views of Lake Windermere and outdoor furniture for alfresco dining or a morning coffee.

The house manager will greet you upon arrival.

There is also a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

If you would like to offset the carbon emissions from your trip, get in touch and we can arrange this for a small fee.

Travel cot and highchair are available by prior arrangement.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £1,000 prior to their stay.

  • Up to 2 dogs are permitted in each apartment for no additional fee.
  • Dogs are permitted in the main house but not in the bedrooms or on the furniture
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead when they are not inside the house

Located at the foot of a holiday park, the house is within walking distance of a fantastic restaurant, cocktail bar, deli, café and a children’s play area. Meanwhile, the town of Bowness-on-Windermere is just 2 minutes away and popular with those wanting to enjoy water sports or fishing. The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway also makes for a great day out as you embark on a journey to the tip of Lake Windermere on a 1950s steam train.

Whilst there are plenty of walks to soak up the scenery directly from the doorstep, if you fancy a day out in the car there are many attractions in the region, including the thriving town of Windermere which is just 2.2 miles away. Here, you can enjoy a wide variety of shops, restaurants and ever-popular boat trips. Meanwhile, Beatrix Potter World is a great place for family fun.
