The neighbourhood
There are plenty of footpaths and walks from the doorstep of the cottage, including 30 acres of surrounding land with stunning woodland and rolling fields. The Honesty Pantry is also a wonderful place to visit on-site, offering delicious home produce to purchase throughout your stay. Enjoy fresh eggs, honey, jams, pressed apple juice, apple and damson cider vinegar and more.
From the start of May to the end of September, the owner hosts a Beekeeping Experience (at an additional fee) where you will have the opportunity to chat about the lifecycle roles of bees, get hands-on and explore what goes on within an active hive, understand beekeeping and so much more. Please get in touch with our
Guest Services team for more information.
The closest town is Tenbury Wells where you can explore the many tea rooms and boutique shops, including the world-famous Mr Thoms sweet shop. From Tuesday to Saturday there is a market to peruse with homemade and homegrown goods including cakes and plants. Just a 20-minute walk away from the cottage is The Fox, a local pub serving home-cooked meals beside a cosy log-burning stove.
Historic Worcester is 11 miles away with plenty of attractions including the Severn Valley Railway, the cathedral, Worcester Woods Country Park and Spetchley Park Gardens.
