There’s lots of culture in this part of Scotland too. It was once home to Scotland’s National Poet, Robert Burns, and places of interest include his house in the town of Dumfries. The town also celebrates Burns Night in spectacular style, while a host of festivals from arts to music are held throughout the year too.
