Why we love this

  • A dog-friendly cottage with vast walking routes nearby
  • Ideal for couples seeking a peaceful and romantic escape
  • Perfect base to explore the Nidderdale AONB and the spa town of Harrogate

This quaint, storybook cottage is decorated in a traditional country style, featuring exposed wooden beams and cosy soft furnishings throughout.

Step through the front door and into the open-plan living space. The underfloor heating paves the way to the comfortable living room, complete with two inviting sofas, a Smart TV and a warming log-burning stove for those crisp, winter nights. Snuggle up fireside with a fine wine or grab a book from the bookshelf for an afternoon of peace and quiet.

Meanwhile, the country-style kitchen features everything you should need to prepare a hearty meal in the comfort of your cosy cottage. You will have access to an electric oven, a gas hob, a toaster and a coffee machine. Once your delicious dish is prepared, head over to the two-seater dining table to enjoy a romantic meal for two.

The ground floor is complete with a WC, shower room and luxurious toiletries to enjoy.

Head through the traditional style door, where you will find an enclosed staircase leading the way to the mezzanine bedroom. This delightful room is adorned with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and exceptional countryside views. As you sink into the soft, double bed, look up to the skylight and admire a blanket of stars as you drift off to sleep.

Outside there is a beautiful outdoor seating area, complete with a royal blue bistro set. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee as the sun rises over the picturesque countryside, with only the sound of birdsong and the rolling stream nearby. There is also a gate with access to an open field for you and your four-legged friend to explore.
