Step inside this characterful cottage and into the cosy living room. Complete with exposed stone walls and a charming inglenook fireplace, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind with a good book in hand or your favourite programme on the Smart TV after a day filled with adventure.

Meanwhile, the fully-equipped kitchen provides everything you will need to self-cater with ease along with a dining table which comfortably seats six.

There are three beautiful bedrooms, one on the ground floor with a double bed and an en-suite shower room and two on the first floor with king-size beds, one of which can be formed into two singles on request. One of the first floor bedrooms has an en-suite shower room, while the other has access to the hallway bathroom with a luxurious bath and a walk-in shower.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio and lawn, plus a single cascade copper shower. It’s the perfect place to lounge in the sunshine or cook up a feast on the gas BBQ.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The toiletries within the cottage are ethically sourced and the pellet burner provides a highly efficient heat source and is considered to be carbon neutral.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The cottage is located in Oxwich on the south side of the Gower Peninsula, just a 2-minute walk from Oxwich Bay, which is dog-friendly all year round, with its unspoilt, sandy beach. Fantastic for a morning jog, a leisurely stroll, paddling or enjoying a variety of water sports, the bay is a wonderful place to spend the day enjoying the fresh air and natural beauty of the area.

Gower covers 80 square miles and its wilderness makes it a fantastic place for everyone to enjoy from families with children to couples, nature lovers and anyone who loves the outdoors.

It’s also a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (the first recognised as such in the UK) that incorporates The Oxwich National Nature Reserve, home to woodlands, dunes and lakes, as well as an array of flora and fauna. If you like wildlife take a boat trip with a local guide, or plan a coastal or countryside walk.

For outdoor activities and adventures, Gower is hard to beat. For walkers, there’s the Wales Coastal Path with its rugged coastline and beautiful beaches. However, if water sports are your passion, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding are available locally.

The seascapes are also very popular with photographers as the light is incredible and there is always something different to see, whether you’re after a dramatic shot or something more serene.

If you love supporting local suppliers and you happen to like gin, visit Gower Distillery which is just a short drive from the property and offers private tours. Meanwhile, if you would like to take a trip into town (about 15 minutes in the car), the Mumbles offers a range of local Welsh produce, cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries and gift shops.

Getting around

A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around.

There is little public transport in the area, however, the Gower Explorer bus service covers the Gower Peninsula, while the nearest train station is Gowerton or Swansea.
