Duchess Manor is a newly refurbished country house, located at The Engine Yard, a boutique retail village on Belvoir Estate. The property has been designed with socialising and entertaining in mind, so is particularly suitable for corporate events or guests attending a wedding. There are nine bedrooms, each providing a luxurious space to retreat to for ultimate privacy and comfort. Nearby, The Engine Yard features a selection of eateries to book at your leisure or you can make use of the many walking routes, cycling paths and activities on site.

As you step inside this stunning house, you will be greeted by charming and unique décor, of the kind you might expect to find in an enchanting fairy tale. The entrance hall features an abundance of nature-inspired artwork and glistening chandeliers, paving the way with warmth and light.

The jewel in the crown of the property is the extravagantly designed function room. This delightful and sociable space is adorned with brightly coloured blooms, hand-painted teardrop chandeliers and luxurious marble flooring. You will have access to ample seating, a mirrored bar and bespoke ‘Her Grace’ china for an extra special afternoon tea. There is also a large outdoor space with a patio and additional seating for alfresco dining and celebrating.

A catering kitchen can be found on the ground floor, but a professional chef is required for use of this room. Furthermore, delicious continental breakfast boxes are available for delivery to your room (at an additional cost).

There are nine bespoke bedrooms in total, all of which have been carefully designed and detailed by The Duchess of Rutland. Each room comprises a TV, a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is one quadruple bedroom on the ground floor which features an en-suite bathroom and is furnished with a king-size bed and two single beds.

Meanwhile, the remaining eight bedrooms are on the first floor. There are two bedrooms with a super-king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, three bedrooms with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom and one with a king-size bed and shared bathroom facilities. There is one very spacious triple bedroom which comprises a king-size bed and a single bed and access to shared bathroom facilities. Finally, there is another quadruple bedroom which features a king-size bed, two single beds and access to a shared bathroom.

Check-in can either be done remotely or the housekeeper can meet you at the property to show you around

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The house is located at The Engine Yard, a three-acre retail village with an abundance of eateries, artisan shops and beautifully landscaped surroundings on the Belvoir Estate. Here, you can sip cocktails at the Balloon Bar, enjoy woodfired pizzas at the Fuel Tank or grab a freshly ground coffee from the Café. The estate is also surrounded by picturesque walking routes and cycling paths to enjoy.

Other attractions include a garden shop, a chocolatier, a delicatessen, a hair salon, a toy shop and so much more. Plus, an abundance of outdoor seating, a children’s play area and a programme of pop-up events throughout the year.
