  • About the property

Ty Coed is part of a family-owned holiday cottage complex set in 13 acres of private grounds and is housed within an 18th-century farm building that has been restored and divided into several holiday properties. Ty Coed is great for get-togethers with family or friends seeking the right balance between a house party atmosphere and enjoying the beautiful countryside. If and when you feel it’s time to blow the cobwebs away there are pretty walks through woodlands and wildflower meadows straight from your door. The grounds also feature a picnic and barbecue area, there’s a communal games room and a hot tub, plus a private chef can be hired to cater for you so you won’t have to lift a finger.

  • The space

Ty Coed is a luxury holiday home with high ceilings, large windows and plenty of room for up to 16 friends and family to spread out. Stylish design meets cosy cabin here, to provide a laid-back vibe where you are free to get comfortable and simply be yourselves.
The open-plan living and dining areas include a large kitchen with top-notch equipment including a commercial-grade Range oven with a six-ring hob where even a professional chef would feel at home. So, whether you’re rustling up a Welsh breakfast or a sumptuous dinner, there’s plenty of room. Designed with socialising in mind, the dining area features a long farmhouse table, with room for all 16 of you, or you can dine alfresco and cook up a feast on the barbecue.
If you don’t feel like cooking at all, a private chef can be arranged to cater for you, from a fine dining experience to a casual buffet.
In the lounge area, you can settle down on one of the comfy sofas or chairs for an evening in front of the wood-burner, chat away with a glass of wine or watch a movie with some nibbles. It’s a lovely place to spend time with French doors that lead out to the Welsh slate patio where you can admire the views.
All four of the bedrooms ooze quality and have a fresh feel. Some have clever features such as beds that are custom designed with a second bed above them making this the perfect set-up for groups, whilst the skylight windows are perfect for quiet moments watching the clouds drift by. All four bedrooms also have views, Smart TVs and an en suite shower room.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the ground floor. Bedroom 1 sleeps three guests in a super-king-size bed with a single bunk over and is a wheelchair-friendly room with direct access to the patio.
