The property begins with a long driveway surrounded by peaceful countryside which leads to a set of electric gates for ultimate seclusion.

Step through the double-height glass doors and into the light and spacious hallway. You’ll be greeted by a grand galleried landing which leads up to the first floor which features a sociable living space and a large kitchen/dining room.

The living room is beautifully appointed with Velux windows and a striking log burner which takes pride of place. Gather here for movie marathons on the Smart TV, or simply relax on the sumptuous L-shaped sofa with a good book in hand.

The extensive kitchen is complete with a host of high-tech appliances to ensure you have everything you will need to self-cater with ease (a private chef can be arranged on request), while the dining table seats six guests, and the breakfast bar seats four. While you await your feast there are two plush velvet sofas to sink into with a crisp glass of champagne, or you can relax on the balcony and admire the serene countryside views.

Venture back downstairs to the ground floor where you will find five luxurious bedrooms. The master is complete with a dressing room and en-suite with a free-standing bath and shower. Three of the four remaining bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, while the final bedroom has access to the main bathroom.

A further staircase leads to the lower ground floor which is home to the fully-equipped gym with a football table and sauna, along with study space and utility room. Pre-bookable beauty treatments are also available, please contact Guest Services to find out more.

Outside, you will have access to a southeast landscaped garden with a manicured lawn and a decked area with sofas, a dining table and a fire pit.

The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

It is sometimes referred to as the 'Footballer Belt' and is home to not only premier league footballers but also celebrities, entertainment industry figures and successful business associates.

The house is located in Mottram St Andrew and is just a 10 minute walk away from Prestbury Village via a footpath. Here, you can enjoy perusing the boutique shops, before dining at one of the many restaurants or champagne bars. Just a 20-minute walk in the other direction, the footpath is accessible to Champneys Spa at Mottram Hall Hotel. The house is also a 2-minute drive from Champney’s for guests attending weddings or functions at the hotel.

There are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep, including Teggs Nose, Macclesfield Forest, The Edge and Lyme Park. Or, if you’d like to take it one step further, the beautiful Peak District is only a short drive away for long-distance hikes and scenic strolls.

Tatton Park in Knutsford also makes for a great day out. As well as a range of seasonal events, concerts and walking trails for all the family, there’s space to cycle, picnic and spot wildlife. Highlights also include indoor exhibitions, the picturesque Japanese garden, a chance to buy local treats and products at various shops, and afternoon tea in the Gardener’s Cottage.

For a slice of city life, Manchester and the Trafford Centre are under an hour away and great for a day out, whether for a spot of shopping or to sample the cocktail bars and fine dining restaurants this incredible city has to offer, including Six by Nico and Lucky Cat. Meanwhile, the city of Chester also has plenty to offer including shopping, sightseeing, a stroll along the River Dee, a day at the races, or an evening at the theatre.

Other nearby attractions include Manchester United and Manchester City football clubs for season ticket holders, The Bridgewater Hall, The Palace Theatre and the Opera House for theatre enthusiasts, Chatsworth House, and golf at Mottram Hall, Prestbury Golf Club and Shrigley Hall.

Getting around

A car is recommended for travelling to the property and ease of getting around.

Manchester Airport is just a 10-minute drive.

You can Travel into the city centre by train (20 mins) directly from Prestbury station which is a 5-minute car journey.

An Uber service is available into Manchester City centre which takes 30 minutes.
