    Moor Park Annex is a delightful annex adjacent the owners’ home and set on the grounds of one other holiday cottage. Perfectly placed in the breathtaking Devon countryside, enjoy an open-plan living space that’s designed for spending quality time together, a private garden with a hot tub and plenty of scenic walking routes for you and your four-legged friend to enjoy. For a day beside the coast, North Devon’s finest beaches are within easy reach, including Woolacombe and Saunton Sands.

  • The space

    This two-storey annex is a credit to its countryside location. Neutral décor and natural wood tones have been used to create a warm and inviting holiday home.

    The property begins with a handy entrance porch, perfect for slipping off your wellie boots after a scenic stroll through the countryside.

    A small set of steps lead into the kitchen/lounge, an open-plan space that has been designed for socialising and spending quality time together. The pine kitchen comprises all you should need to self-cater with ease, including an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a kettle, a coffee machine and a dishwasher. Three bar stools are perched underneath the breakfast bar for a convenient place to enjoy your morning coffee or you can head over to the four-seater dining table for your evening meals. The lounge comprises two inviting sofas, a Smart TV on the wall and French doors that lead to the stunning private garden.

    Stairs lead up from the lounge to two cosy bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with Smart TV and en-suite shower room and the other bedroom has a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size if required) and a Smart TV. A third room provides a fun space for children to enjoy, there’s a collection of beanbags and enough toys and games to keep them happy and entertained.

    The property is complete with a shared shower room and WC.

    Outside you will have access to a delightful private garden, fully enclosed to keep your children and four-legged friends safe. Whilst admiring the gorgeous countryside views, fire up the BBQ for a delicious alfresco feast or hop into your bubbling hot tub for an evening of relaxation.

    Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

    Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

    Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The neighbourhood

The annex is located in the picturesque Devon countryside, posing many pretty walking routes close by for you and your four-legged friends to explore. The Exmoor National Park is particularly stunning with its dramatic coastline, stretching from Minehead in the east to Combe Martin in the west.

To keep the whole family entertained, head to the owners’ adventure centre just 0.5m away from the property. Here you can experience quad-biking, axe throwing, 4x4 drives, children's Land Rovers and so much more.

The seaside town of Ilfracombe is just 10 minutes away and provides an abundance of restaurants, pubs, boutique shops and cafes. You can even hop on a ferry to Lundy Island which will take approximately one hour and you might even spot dolphins, porpoises or seals along the way.

Thrill seekers should head to Watermouth Castle and discover the Victorian Castle full of historic treasures and a child-friendly theme park with rides and a play area. There is also a beautifully landscaped garden to explore.

There are many beautiful beaches to visit in North Devon, including Woolacombe and Saunton Sands where you can spend the day strolling through the sand, going for a dip in the sea or relaxing in the sunshine.
