Yorkshire Wolds Holiday Cottages

The beautiful area of the Yorkshire Wolds is a range of hills spanning parts of East Riding and North Yorkshire. The Wolds rise from the estuary of the River Humber at Hessle and run down to the coastal cliffs of Flamborough Head. Along the way there are pretty market towns including Pocklington, Malton and Beverley. The city of York is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Wolds too.

With wide open spaces incorporating dales, farmland, chalk streams and ancient woodland, as well as coastal splendour, it’s a playground for anyone who loves being outdoors. It’s a popular place for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders alike. Equally, if you’re looking for pure tranquillity, it is easy to find it here amongst the beautiful countryside.

With plenty of history and heritage too, from Iron Age settlements to stately homes, the Yorkshire Wolds offer a beautiful destination for a relaxing cottage holiday.
