The Barn at Ampneyfield comprises three beautiful barn conversions, Milk Barn, Orchard Stable and Haymaker Barn. Set within the owners’ peaceful farm, these delightful retreats offer a comfortable place to relax with an idyllic backdrop, along with an open-plan layout and a private patio which is perfect for alfresco dining on warmer days. Orchard Stable, the largest of the three barns, can seat ten at the kitchen table so you can enjoy mealtimes together. Should you wish to explore the area, Bibury and Cirencester are just 3 miles away or you can venture further into the Cotswolds to peruse the boutique shops and chocolate box villages.

Milk Barn

This luxurious barn conversion has been designed with light, space and warmth in mind. The open-plan living space comprises a shaker-style kitchen with an air conditioner and all the essentials, including an electric oven, an induction hob, a coffee machine, a fridge/freezer and a four-seater dining table. Meanwhile, the sitting room has a sumptuous sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV. There are two beautifully designed bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom each. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom features two zip and link single beds (which can be formed into a king-size bed if required). Outside, you will have access to a delightful private garden and courtyard with a rattan dining table.

Orchard Stable

Sleeps 4 / 2 Bedrooms / 2 Bathrooms

This two-storey barn conversion is brimming with character and rustic charm. The kitchen comprises all the essentials including an electric oven, an induction hob, a coffee machine, a fridge/freezer and a ten-seater dining table. There are two living spaces, one of which features a comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a log burner. Meanwhile, a comfortable snug is detached from the main living space with sofas and a Smart TV. Upstairs, there are two beautifully designed bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom and one with a king-size bed (which can be formed into two singles if required) and its own shower room. Outside, you will have access to a delightful private garden and courtyard with rattan furniture.

Haymaker Cottage

Sleeps 2 / 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom

This newly renovated barn conversion begins with a sandstone pathway, lined with seasonal blooms and a perfectly preened lawn, along with a small patio which features a bistro set. Step through the stable door and into the open-plan living space, complete with a country-style galley kitchen comprising all the essentials, including an electric oven, an induction hob, a coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There is also a comfortable sitting room with a linen sofa, a Smart TV and a two-seater dining table that is perfectly positioned to take in the countryside views. Upstairs there is a stunning bedroom which features a double bed, ample storage space and an en-suite with a shower and a bath.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

The nearest restaurant is The Crown at Ampney Brook which is just 5 minutes away and serves a range of seasonal dishes and delicious tipples.

There is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, including visiting the charming Cotswolds villages and towns with their quaint cobblestone streets. Stow-on-the-Wold is just 30 minutes away and offers an array of great dining options, including Michelin Star restaurants and cosy pubs with garden terraces, as well as a variety of independent shops. It is a fantastic location from which to explore the stunning English countryside with many walking routes to discover.
