This spacious and thoughtfully renovated property is the perfect base for exploring the local countryside with numerous walks on your doorstep and pretty villages to visit, including Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge and the famous Haworth. The high-spec open plan kitchen and dining area provide all the space you could need to socialise and entertain, while the outdoor patio is complete with a luxurious hot tub with stunning views of the local Yorkshire countryside.

This beautifully renovated barn conversion comes with everything you need for a perfect country retreat. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room which has plenty of comfy sofas to relax on and watch a movie after a long day exploring the local area. Adjoining the lounge is the snug with additional seating to relax and read a book. This room also benefits from a separate Smart TV with DVD player to keep you entertained.
The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen including a fridge freezer, microwave and electric range cooker. The kitchen is open plan with an island and stools where you can enjoy your breakfast or a coffee. For more formal dining there's a magnificent dining table that comfortably seats 12. The ground floor utility room houses a washer, dryer, separate WC and also acts as a boot room.
Upstairs the bedrooms are reached by an impressive stairway and gallery landing with a feature chandelier. There are four bedrooms with super king size zip-link beds that can be made into twins and all have en-suite walk-in shower room with basin and WC. A further two super king size zip-link beds can be found on the second floor with en-suites containing a shower over the bath. The property is child friendly and a travel cot and stair gates are available on request.
Outside, you will have access to a patio with garden furniture and a luxurious hot tub overlooking the rolling hills beyond.
Guests have access to the whole house and can be met by the owner or keys can be left in the lock-box. The barn is accessed by a steep lane onto a private driveway where there is parking for 3-4 vehicles.
The barn's biomass heating system, burns wood pellets, chips or logs to provide energy to power the central heating and hot water boiler and the added bonus of under-floor heating to the ground floor.
We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.

Meadow Barn is located in a quiet and very pretty Yorkshire village where you will find shops, cafe, an award-winning restaurant, takeaways and several excellent local pubs providing good food and real ale.
Great days out include exploring nearby Sowerby Bridge, Hebden Bridge with their artisan delis and art galleries and shops or walk in the footsteps of the Brontes in Haworth across stunning moorland.
Only 20 minutes away in Halifax you can visit the stunning Shibden Hall which dates back to 1420; home to Anne Lister and the setting for the TV series by Sally Wainwright “Gentleman Jack”. Visit The Piece Hall, historic Cloth Hall with its artisan shops and cafes.
Close by, there is an Area of Outstanding National Beauty where you may spot rare animals and a series of ancient round barrow burial sites. Hebden Bridge, Worth Valley Railway and the Parsonage Museum (which commemorates the Bronte family history) are all on your doorstep.
