Kernow Manor is at the heart of a picturesque, twenty-two-acre, Cornish estate that dates to 1846. Secluded and featuring an ornamental lake, woodland trails, orchards and a Victorian walled kitchen garden, the estate is a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday in the countryside. The manor house is full of period character, teamed with antique furniture and real log fires for the ultimate cosy stay. You can also play tennis on the estate’s court and you'll have use of a gym room too. Meanwhile, the coast is just 2 miles away and is the gateway to beautiful beaches, many fantastic for surfing.

This spacious house is very elegant yet comfortable and homely. It is beautifully furnished in a relaxed country style and features a host of period details, antique furniture and wooden floors scattered with decorative rugs.
On the ground floor there’s a kitchen/breakfast room with a stone slate floor and underfloor heating. At the heart of the space is a table with seating for 10 for informal dining, while modern conveniences include a dishwasher, fridge and dual fuel range cooker.
Off the kitchen is a larder with a walk-in fridge, a freezer and a utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
For more formal dining, head to the stylish dining room that has a large dining table to fit everyone. Meanwhile, the drawing room is a lovely space for evening drinks, or afternoon tea with stunning garden and lake views, as well as a real log fire.
For quiet moments, the snug library is a cosy place to read a good book, watch a favourite programme or relax with a morning coffee.
There are also two downstairs cloakrooms with WC.
In the full height hall, climb the fine oak staircase upstairs where there is a beautiful sky light that fills the space with natural light. There are eight bedrooms in total. Four double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a bunk room, all with an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, WC and sink. A further twin bedroom and a second bunk room share the family bathroom. All bathrooms have luxury REN toiletries for you to enjoy.
Outside, there are private gardens to the front and back of the house with a terrace which is the ideal spot to enjoy lunch and drinks.
As a guest of this property, you will have use of a gym room.
Need more room? During the summer holidays, Moon Cottage, that sleeps 2, can be rented by the week at an extra cost.

You are free to explore the estate grounds and gardens on your own, or a private tour with the head gardener can be arranged. Use of the tennis court is also available. Beauty treatments are available to book.The property is located in north Cornwall, 3 miles from the coast and a short drive from Newquay. If you are looking for beaches, particularly for surfing, it’s a fantastic spot. Crantock to the west of Newquay, and Watergate Bay to the east, are within a 6-mile drive and offer excellent surfing with equipment for hire.Inspiration for you
