Or relax indoors in the barn’s open-plan living area where the farmhouse kitchen/diner is perfect for socialising over a good meal. The estate is a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday in the countryside, however the coast is just 3 miles away and is the gateway to beautiful beaches, many fantastic for surfing.

This barn conversion is situated just across the courtyard from the main manor house on the estate. It enjoys a sunny south-facing aspect, whilst the interior is decorated in a modern, farmhouse style. Exposed stone walls and wooden ceiling trusses add plenty of country charm.

The heart of the home is the kitchen/diner which is a great space for socialising together as dinner is prepared, served and enjoyed. The dining table seats up to 12, while the kitchen features a large island for prepping and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Meanwhile, in the large sitting area there are two sofas, armchairs and a Smart TV/DVD player, plus there’s satellite broadband throughout.

The barn has six bedrooms. A super-king, a king and a twin bedroom on the ground floor, each with an en-suite bathroom with a bath with shower over, a WC and a sink. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with an en-suite bathroom, and one has a twin room attached to it to make a family suite.

To the back of the barn there is a large, decked area and a garden laid to lawn.

The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

Flowers and fruits may be available from the walled garden as arranged with the head gardener.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive the requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

You are free to explore the estate grounds and gardens on your own, or a private tour with the head gardener can be arranged. Use of the tennis court is also available. Beauty treatments are available to book.

The property is located in north Cornwall, 3 miles from the coast and a short drive from Newquay. If you are looking for beaches, particularly for surfing, it’s a fantastic spot. Crantock to the west of Newquay, and Watergate Bay to the east, are within a 6-mile drive and offer excellent surfing with equipment for hire.
