Feeling peckish? Make a beeline for the fully-equipped, open-plan country kitchen. With an adjoining dining room and large refectory table, this beauteous spot is illuminated by a pick-and-mix of mood-boosting hues, all set beneath the grandeur of the original vaulted ceilings.

The decor is chic and sophisticated with authentic country influences at its core, creating an elegant yet cosy base in which to station your getaway. When the weather permits, begin your day with a hearty breakfast enjoyed in the open air before venturing into the mesmerising wild meadows for a mindful stroll enveloped by natural beauty. Suitably composed? Retreat back inside for a hot cup of tea and a generous slice of cake before sinking into the bubbling depths of your crystalline, steamy hot tub – bliss.

Accommodating two master suites - both furnished with sprawling king-size beds - as well as two doubles and a twin, each bedroom benefits from its own unique colour scheme and swoon-worthy assortment of sumptuous details. So, wherever you choose to rest your head, you’re sure to be left feeling entirely rested and rejuvenated ahead of the next adventure.

The brewery

Those who love nothing more than a crisp, refreshing tipple should make a beeline for the home brewery. Encircled by sun-drenched golden barley fields - the direct supply of every unique blend - the brewery welcomes you to journey back in time as you acquaint yourself with the time-honoured methods and magic.

There is a brand new tap room, serving beer, wine and spirits, opening in July 2024.

Nature walks

However you choose to while your days away, bask in the natural wonders surrounding you. Switch off from reality as you ramble wetland meadows, droves of scattered wildflowers and expanses of awe-inspiring restored marshland, woodland and the happy herds of meadow-bound, rare-breed sheep.

Cycling

Keen cyclists are sure to delight in the myriad of family-friendly cycle tracks the estate has to offer. Prepare to uncover heaps of hidden marvels as you criss-cross from here to there, and when the weather permits, stow scrumptious treats into a picnic basket before venturing to one of the estate’s many secret nooks for a sun-drenched feast.

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned, and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
