Whitby is a traditional seaside resort in North Yorkshire and a wonderful destination for a luxury cottage holiday. Set on the Yorkshire Coast it promises sea views, the opportunity for walks on the beach and interesting history.

Most famous for the Gothic Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for the story of Dracula, Whitby is fantastic for sightseers. Back in town, many shops offer a nod to the count, while others specialise in gifts made from local Whitby jet.
