The shepherd’s hut begins with a delightful outdoor space, complete with everything you should need to enjoy a rural escape in nature. Head over to the outdoor lounge where you can relax on the cosy day bed, whip up a delicious pizza on the pizza oven and dine alfresco with sunset views across the old orchard. When the sky fills with stars, gather around the fire pit with a warming mug of hot chocolate or climb into your very own private hot tub.

Step through the double doors into the open-plan living space where you will find a stunning midnight blue kitchen comprising an electric oven and hob, a toaster, a kettle and a fridge. Head to the two-seater dining table to enjoy a romantic, home-cooked feast or relax on the comfortable armchairs with your favourite book in hand.

After a day of exploring the vast countryside, climb into the comfortable king-size bed and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV or nestle into the soft linen sheets for an evening of relaxation.

The shepherd’s hut is complete with a modern shower room, featuring a WC and fluffy towels.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The cottage is well set back from the A372 in the hamlet of Pibsbury, between the villages of Long Sutton and Huish Episcopi. There is a farm shop in Long Sutton, local shops stocked with essentials in Somerton and Langport, while the nearest supermarket is also in Langport.

The nearest pub is in Huish Episcopi, under 1 mile away, and it serves food and real ale, while there are some good restaurants a short drive away in Long Sutton, Somerton and Barrington.
