Stoke Hall was built in 1812 on a sight with significant English historical importance and is an exceptional country residence set within beautiful grounds, privately on its own in the corner of East Stoke near Newark Nottinghamshire, offering an unforgettable retreat for family celebrations and special occasions. Designed for entertaining on a grand scale, guests can enjoy a private cinema, sophisticated cocktail bar, heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Peloton gym, hot tub and beautifully landscaped gardens. Generous reception rooms and luxurious accommodation for up to 18 guests make the property equally suited to milestone celebrations, family gatherings and special occasions. Alongside two sofa beds, one downstairs in the study and the other in one of the bedrooms.

Arrive via the sweeping driveway and step into a remarkable country house where period grandeur meets contemporary luxury. High ceilings, original architectural details and expansive sash windows create a sense of elegance throughout.

The heart of the home is the stunning kitchen, featuring a large granite island, bespoke cabinetry and generous preparation space, making it ideal for group catering and social gatherings, alongside a back kitchen for caterers if needed. The dining room has two large tables accommodating up to 20 people and entertaining spaces allow everyone to come together comfortably.

For relaxing evenings, guests can enjoy the impressive cocktail bar, complete with wine storage and seating areas, before moving through to the private cinema room, where luxurious reclining chairs, with drinks coolers provide the perfect setting for movie nights or watching sports on the big screen.

The magnificent drawing room offers a beautiful place to unwind, with statement décor, large windows overlooking the grounds and plenty of comfortable seating. Throughout the house, carefully curated interiors blend traditional country house charm with contemporary finishes.

All nine bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide a restful and luxurious stay. Guests will be provided with their own robes, slippers and water bottle to elevating the use of the facilities and can expect high-quality linens, plush bedding and carefully selected furnishings throughout. The king-size rooms offer elegant country-house comfort, while the other four bedrooms have zip link beds that can be prepared for twin beds on request providing flexible accommodation for families, friends and corporate groups. Selected bedrooms benefit from private en-suite facilities, alongside your robes, slippers and water bottles, complimentary luxury toiletries are provided to help elevate the guest experience.

Outside, landscaped gardens surround the property alongside the secret walled garden, creating a peaceful setting for morning coffee, outdoor dining or a dip in the hot tub. The heated swimming pool is accompanied by a dedicated wellness area, including a sauna, steam room and shower facilities, allowing guests to fully relax during their stay.

Your host will meet you upon arrival, and will show you around the house to show you how the amenities, such as how the steam room and sauna can be used. A manual will also be provided with this information.

Self-check-in available upon request. However, host check-in is advised to maximise the enjoyment of your stay.

A menu offering optional extras will be sent by the host upon booking, with options such as personal chef, housekeeping, entertainment, masseuse etc.

The cocktail bar is fully stocked with wines and spirits. All available to purchase during your visit, further information will be provided by your host upon booking.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £1,500 prior to their stay.

Gardeners: The gardeners are on site Mondays and Fridays during GMT hours and Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during BST hours. This is to keep the extensive grounds up to our high standards. Please contact your host if you require further information.
