The neighbourhood
The shepherd’s hut is located in the Worcestershire countryside with many scenic walks from the doorstep. The nearest pub is The Masons Arms which is just 6 minutes away by car and serves a range of traditional meals, sharing boards and local ales. There is a tuck shop in each property offered by the owner's young son with a small section of snacks.
For some city life, historic Worcester is 11 miles away where plenty of attractions include the cathedral, the racecourse and The Commandery which was the Royalists’ headquarters during the English Civil War.
The riverside town of Bewdley is 12 miles away and is often described as the perfect small Georgian town in Worcester. There is lots to see and do including river walks, museums and beautiful gardens, plus there is a great selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants.
