The Garden Barn

Built from traditional stone and full of character, the barn offers a cosy two-storey layout designed for comfort and relaxation. The ground floor features an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space, where soft neutral interiors, natural textures and countryside views create an inviting atmosphere throughout. A wood burner provides warmth and ambience during cooler months, making it the perfect place to curl up after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for relaxed self-catering, while the dining area offers a welcoming space for long breakfasts and quiet evenings together. From the living room, a half-glazed door frames views across the rolling Devon landscape, bringing the beauty of the outdoors into the heart of the home.

A winding staircase leads upstairs to the airy bedroom tucked beneath the eaves. Here, a large rooflight opens up sweeping countryside views, creating a calm and restful retreat. An ensuite shower room completes the upper floor, offering privacy and comfort in a beautifully intimate setting.

Adding to the experience is a separate glazed annexe positioned beside the barn. Designed as a peaceful chill-out space, it offers additional seating, a dining area, utility facilities and a wet room with power shower - creating extra flexibility and space to unwind throughout your stay.

Outside, the grounds are a true highlight.Set within approximately half an acre, the garden features a gently trickling stream, mature planting, an orchard and several places to sit and take in the surrounding views. A patio area with outdoor dining furniture and Weber barbecue makes alfresco meals effortless, while a secluded picnic spot at the far end of the garden offers a wonderfully peaceful place to enjoy the Devon countryside.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 70 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
