History buffs are encouraged to venture to the neighbouring city of Wells. Famed for being the oldest residential street in Europe, this landmark resides just 10 minutes away from your rural retreat. Alternatively, if you’re yearning for a spot of retail therapy, Bristol and Bath are both just a 30-minute drive away.
Famous for its annual, highly sought-after music festival, lively Glastonbury is just a short distance from the farm, meanwhile the weathered crags of the spectacular Cheddar Gorge are just 10 minutes away by car. Those happy to venture slightly further should relish the opportunity to visit Stonehenge. Perhaps the world’s most famous prehistoric monument, this megalithic structure dates back over 5000 years.
Prefer to stay at the farm? With 18 acres of pristinely-manicured grounds just waiting to be explored, you couldn’t wish for a more idyllic spot in which to reconnect with nature. Unearth a treasure trove of beautiful sights as you encounter ponds, wildlife, secret walkways and more. There are a few neighbouring locals you may wish to meet, too, including the farm’s playful pigmy goats, ducks and moorhens. You’re also likely to spot deer, badgers, buzzards and if you’re lucky, you might even catch sight of the local barn owls at dusk, too.
