If you are lucky, you might even spot wild red deer roaming by. At night the borders and lake light up to create a magical setting for dark sky watching or a twilight stroll.
You will also have access to the estate’s 38 acres of stunning grounds, including 25 acres of private semi-ancient woodlands, 10 acres of private parkland with a 350-year-old oak, 3 acres of gardens, a fire pit and a picnic area with solid tables and benches beside the stream. If you are feeling adventurous during your stay, the owners provide a rowing boat, canoes and paddleboards for use on the lake. Or you can enjoy the more simple pleasure of feeding the resident ducks or playing a game of football, rounders and bowls on the lawn.
