Enter through the sliding glass patio doors at the front of the lodge and into the open-plan lounge and dining area. There’s a comfortable L-shaped sofa to sink into and an armchair, as well as a TV with Freeview SKY channels (a SKY TV package is available to purchase at an additional cost) and Blu Ray DVD. You'll also benefit from Starlink satellite broadband.
Enjoy your meals indoors at the dining table, or make use of the patio area, equipped with a table and chairs, at the front of the property.
Walnut effect flooring gives the living area a sense of warmth and leads to the modern kitchen area which is equipped with everything you will need to whip up snacks and meals, even a sandwich toaster, food processor and Nespresso coffee machine. The Royal Doulton crockery adds an elegant touch to mealtimes, while the cool-toned Farrow and Ball paint colours throughout the cabin, adds an injection of freshness and light.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has twin single beds, ideal for the kids. There is fitted wardrobe space to store your clothes, while each bed has a luxurious 2000 spring, pocket sprung mattress and Egyptian cotton linens. In the bathroom there is a bath with a power shower over and a heated towel rail.
Guests are invited to check-in remotely prior to arrival and full directions will be supplied. The property will be found in the middle of the beautiful estate and there are a few steps up to the entrance of the cabin.
The estate owner and his family live on-site and are available to help you make the most of your stay.
Heating in Ben More Cabin is in the form of low-energy, mineral-filled electric heaters to help with the private estate’s efforts in striving to be as sustainable as possible. The privately owned estate on which the cabin is located attracts plenty of wildlife including deer, pine martens and red squirrels, which you might spot if you are lucky. Guests are encouraged to recycle their food waste into the composting bins on the estate and can also purchase bird food to feed feathered friends back at their cabin. In addition, guests are encouraged to collect vegetable peelings in the container provided in the kitchen and recycle them at one of the compost bins around the estate.
We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Refundable Security Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of £250 to the owner upon arrival, which will then be refunded upon departure.
The owners are very happy to welcome well-behaved dogs to stay in this property but for the benefit of all their guests they require all dog owners to adhere to the ‘Dog Rules’ which will be detailed within your confirmation documents:-

The private estate also has a games room with table tennis, pool table and table football, as well as a small gym and a visitor centre with a small shop selling essentials, maps and local meats. A mobile butcher and fishmonger visit the estate weekly with local, fresh produce to purchase.
