Our Story

Luxury Cottages was founded in 2019 by Alistair Malins with a mission to improve the quality of accommodation and experience in domestic holidays. Alistair wanted to combine the level of customer service you experience at a luxury travel agency with a portfolio of luxury properties that was unrivalled in the sector. Not long afterwards, Alistair was joined by Co-Founders Michelle Sephton and Anthony Cole, who also have extensive experience in the luxury travel sector. Today, we are a rapidly growing team of luxury experts based all over the UK.

From the outset the aim has always been to match discerning guests with the highest quality of luxury accommodation and provide an unforgettable level of customer service. For Luxury Cottages it is all about the personal touch, whether guests choose to book with us online or call us, our dedicated Guest Services team ensure everything runs smoothly and any requests are taken care of.

We have personally curated a portfolio of luxury properties so it’s easy for guests to find somewhere that meets their high standards. Our team of local luxury experts select and inspect every property that we represent to ensure they are of the highest quality. Only those that are beautifully decorated and pass a stringent test make the final cut for our portfolio.

For our owners

We also provide the same standard of personal service to our owners and work closely with them to ensure their properties are kept to the highest standards. Our team of local luxury experts are contactable seven days a week to assist with any requests and regularly consult with owners on anything from their interior design to pricing and revenue management.
