Woodland House is the kind of place where you’ll be happy simply enjoying the space, but when you fancy a brief change of scene, woodland walks begin straight from the door.
There are electric gates at the entrance of the property and off-road parking space for up to twelve cars.
The property is set out over three floors with the entertainment area on the lower ground floor. Here, you’ll find a movie room with comfy cinema-style seating for nine of you, a huge screen and a fully immersive sound system. There’s also a games room with sofa seating, a pool table, a Smart TV with Netflix and Sky, a PlayStation with DVD player and a bar area.
On the ground floor is the main living area that’s designed for socialising. In the lounge, there’s seating for everyone to gather and watch a favourite programme on the Smart TV that has Netflix and Sky. Meanwhile, the open-plan kitchen and dining room, like the rest of the house, is sleek and stylish. There’s everything you could need to cook and entertain including an oven, steam oven, microwave and a warming drawer, as well as a tap that provides filtered and instant boiling water, plus another Smart TV.
As well as a dining table that overlooks the garden, there’s sofa seating and a kitchen island with a breakfast bar. A host of in-built features in the island will delight tech fans. These include a wireless phone charger, plus plugs with USB points, a knife holder and an extractor fan that all pop up from the worktop.
There’s also a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a cloakroom with WC on this floor.
Large sliding patio doors lead from the dining room onto the rear garden and the patio which is furnished with a gazebo, table and chairs so that you can dine and relax as you admire the views of the woodlands at the back of the house. There’s also a gas BBQ, a wood-fired pizza oven and a gas fire pit.
The garden and the driveway are enclosed by a fence making it secure for pets to roam freely and children to play.
In a separate building in the garden there is a fantastic mini leisure complex that you’ll have all to yourselves. With an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a gym area with a Smart TV it certainly has the ‘wow factor’. The house has six bedrooms. Two on the lower ground floor level, each with a double zip-and-link bed that can be split into two single beds if preferred. They share an en-suite shower room. The other four bedrooms are on the first floor, one with a king-size bed and the other three with double beds. These all have en-suites with a shower, but two also have a bath. All but one of the bedrooms have a TV.
A code will be provided for the electric gates so that you can enter the grounds. The owners will greet you on arrival and show you around the property.
A ground source heat pump powers the underfloor heating in the house, whilst green bins are provided for recycling.
Please be aware that a stream runs through the garden, however this is fenced off for your safety.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment of 3% of the rental price can be made to waive this requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.

The house is located along a country road and is about 2 miles away from the nearest shop. A wider selection of shops and supermarkets can be found in Bromsgrove which is 5 miles away. There are several good pubs and restaurants within 1 to 2 miles of the property, perfect if you fancy leaving the car and walking instead.
Meanwhile, the woodland at the back of the house is a great place for a short nature walk. A short drive away, near Kidderminster, you can begin a circular walk through Chaddesley and Nutnells Wood that runs alongside the river in parts. It’s a moderate walk and just over 5 miles long, great for working up an appetite for that pub lunch.
Days out in the local area include trips to Cadbury World, Drayton Manor theme park, the Falconry Centre in Hagley or the races at Warwick Racecourse.
Due to the countryside location, we recommend a car for travelling to the property and ease of getting around. However, the nearest train station is about 5 miles away in Bromsgrove.
