Slip off muddy boots at the entrance of the cottage where there is a storm porch with a beautifully tiled floor. Inside, the accommodation is all on the one level and there is oak flooring throughout.
At the heart of the property is the open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge room which has wooden ceiling beams and velux windows. Snuggle up in front of the wood burner after a winter walk or on a chilly evening. There's a Smart TV with Freeview, plus access to Netflix /Amazon/iPlayer (own login details required), or you might be content just gazing at the views across the countryside.
The kitchen space has all you could need to whip up everything from a romantic breakfast or a relaxing dinner. There’s an oven and hob, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Sit down at the dining table for two and enjoy your meal whilst planning the next day’s adventure.
Two sets of French doors lead back outside to the enclosed, private south-facing garden at the front of the cottage. Here, you will find your cedarwood hot tub (which is electrically heated and has jets), two lounge chairs and throws so that you can relax outdoors, sipping drinks and stargazing until late.
There is also a utility room which is attached to the cottage but has a separate entrance. Inside, there is a washing machine and space to hang wet clothes, while the space also provides handy lockable bike storage.
The bedroom features a king-size bed, a wardrobe and drawers, as well as an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, a WC and a basin. A hairdryer is also provided.
