If you don’t feel like cooking, an excellent private chef is available to book via our Guest Services team.
Privately catered meals and delicious banquets can be enjoyed in the neighbouring dining room, complete with a grand six-seater table and beautiful antiques.

The townhouse is also the perfect base for wedding parties and brides getting married in the area, especially in The Sherborne Abbey.

From the property, a private exit leads to Cheap Street, known for its range of independent shops, while Pageant Park has a bandstand where summertime performances often take place. To absorb some of the town’s fascinating history, there’s also Sherborne Abbey (a 2 minute walk away), Sherborne Old Castle and, next to it, Sherborne New Castle.There is a brilliant selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs in this beautiful town, including Café D’Urbeville which offers locally sourced food, drinks and cakes.
