If you prefer not to cook, you can visit the on-site restaurant, and for those seeking an adventure, experiences such as private surfing lessons can be arranged.

The property is filled with natural light and has a joyful atmosphere from the moment you step inside. The central area of the home features an open-plan kitchen/dining/ living space, perfect for socialising and enjoying good company.

You can relax on the sofa and watch a movie, cosy up in front of the log burner, or have a meal together at the dining table. Meanwhile, the kitchen is well-equipped with a double oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher.

The master bedroom contains a super-king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a single bed and an additional super-king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower, a WC, and a basin.

Outside, the private decked area offers plenty of space for relaxation. You can unwind in the private sunken hot tub, and then prepare a leisurely lunch on the BBQ. From April – October, you will have access to Fatboy bean bags, a hammock and a sofa on the deck.

Beach towels, robes, bed linen and luxury toiletries are provided, along with a range of cleaning products and kitchen essentials. Additionally, buckets and spades, fishing nets, bats and ball, beach cricket, a football, a frisbee, and a windbreak are all included in your stay, ensuring that your day at the beach will be filled with fun.

If you’re bringing your dog along, complimentary dog beds and bowls are available.

Food and drink

There’s a fantastic on-site restaurant and bar open all year round for guests. From April – October, you can dine in, take away or request a delivery to your holiday home, while November – March is home delivery only.

Pizza parties

An Ooni pizza oven, plus a hamper of fresh pizza ingredients, will be dropped off to you so you can whip up tasty pizzas in minutes. The perfect combination of good food and good fun.

Surf lessons
Small group surf lessons are available, or a private one-to-one or family session can be booked. You can upgrade your lesson with tuition from the Head Coach or opt for water photography and videography to create a wonderful record of your lesson.

Water sports and beach equipment

A range of water sports equipment and beach equipment is available to hire including bodyboards, surf boards, stand-up paddleboards, fins, wetsuits, a beach volleyball set, a cool box, a beach parasol and a speaker and solar charger.

Other outdoor experiences

Book a guided coasteering experience for a fun and adrenaline-filled way of exploring local caves and gullies. For a gentler pursuit, there’s the wild foraging walk where you will learn all about nature’s larder and what’s safe to eat. In addition, you can hire fishing rods and tackle for a fishing trip, or a telescope to explore the night sky from the comfort of your beach shack.

Baby pack

If you are travelling with your baby, you can make life easier by pre-booking the baby pack to save you bringing a potty, toilet seat and step, changing mat, baby bath, bottle steriliser and bottle warmer with you. A high chair and cot are also available on request and these are free of charge.

The Street Food truck and bar is a communal space available to all guests at the resort. It sells a range of snacks, sides, desserts and drinks. There’s an outdoor dining area or you can pre-book the delivery service to dine in the comfort of your beach shack.

Access to your beach shack is through a key code which will be provided to you prior to arrival.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

There are steps down to the beach.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.

It’s also part of the South West Coast Path, so if you like walking or all things coastal, you’ll love it here. If you have your dog with you, many of the beaches are dog-friendly, although some have restrictions at certain times of the year.

The property is located at Gwithian Towans beach on St Ives Bay in Cornwall. The nearest supermarket is on the outskirts of the town of Hayle, while the centre of Hayle has more supermarkets and local shops where you can stock up on groceries.

The resort is about a 5-minute walk away from the steps that lead down to Gwithian Beach and this and the beaches beyond are fantastic for water sports from stand-up paddleboarding and kiteboarding to windsurfing and surfing. Gwithian Beach is a big hit with families who love exploring the rockpools and playing beach games, while on Godrevy Beach you can often spot seals, especially in autumn and winter. If it’s wildlife that you want to find, head to Upton Towans and Mexico Towans with a pair of binoculars and venture into the sand dunes.

There are lots of places where you can get closer to nature. Walk or drive to the Hayle Estuary nearby which is a haven for birdlife including curlews, egrets and oystercatchers. Or take a boat trip from St Ives harbour to Seal Island, or to do a spot of dolphin-watching.

Do also visit the delightful fishing port of St Ives which is home of the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Or visit Trevaskis Farm where you can meet the farm animals, shop in the farm shop and pick your own fruits. Meanwhile, Tehidy Country Park is ideal for woodland walks, picnics and cycling around the lake. St Michael’s Mount with its causeway connecting it to the mainland, its castle and its gardens is another highlight in the local area, while a day trip to Penzance promises historic pubs, great antique shops and an impressive, saltwater lido.

Getting around

Travelling by car is recommend for ease of exploring the area around St Ives Bay and beyond. If you have an electric car, there are two charging points at the resort and charging slots can be reserved.

If you’d prefer to travel by train, the nearest station is Hayle. However, there is a direct service from London Paddington to St Erth which takes about 5 hours and 10 minutes. A taxi can be pre-booked to meet you at St Erth and the resort is about a 20-minute drive away.

The nearest airport is Newquay which is about a 45-minute drive away and taxis are available, or you can arrange to collect a hire car.
