Exceptional Service

Our award-winning Guest Services team will not only help you find your dream holiday but will support you through every step of your stay.

Set over one floor, step inside the warm and inviting living space which is complete with a modern, Shaker-style kitchen and a cosy lounge with an abundance of natural light and characterful features.

The kitchen is complete with an oven and hob, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher and a fridge. Meanwhile, the dining table comfortably seats up to four guests. When you are ready to relax, venture over to the lounge where you will find a sofa, a single armchair and a TV. The cosy wood-burning stove is also on hand for those chillier nights.

There is one beautifully decorated bedroom with sumptuous soft furnishings, a king-size bed and an en-suite with bath and shower.

Outside, you will have access to a patio with a table and chairs for alfresco meals while you admire the idyllic gardens and countryside beyond. There are also plenty of places in the extensive gardens to stroll, picnic or relax, including the lovely garden house with its six-seater table and Green Egg ceramic barbecue.

Whenever possible the owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property. Alternatively, self-check-in with more details prior to arrival.

The property is heated by a biomass boiler.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Location

The neighbourhood

With North Devon being a relatively undiscovered food heaven, there are many pubs and eateries in the area, including the Michelin-starred Masons Arms (advance booking is required) or the wine pub of the year, Woods. You must also try the local gins and ciders throughout your stay too.

Exmoor itself is a little-known national park, which means it is rarely crowded, even in the summer. It offers a huge variety of landscapes and sights, from picturesque villages, rugged coastlines and moors to stately castles and fossil-filled beaches.
