This charming Georgian Rectory spans two levels and offers an inviting blend of refined interiors and distinctive antique furnishings.

The inviting sitting room provides a cosy retreat, featuring three plush sofas ideal for a movie night on the Smart TV or a relaxed chat by the open fireplace. With dual aspect windows, the room enjoys views of both the walled garden to the side and the gravel courtyard at the front. A variety of board games, books, magazines, and DVDs ensures entertainment for every preference.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for culinary enthusiasts, boasting a six-ring range oven, combi-microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, warming drawers, coffee machine and a bottle fridge. The breakfast table comfortably seats 10, making it perfect for casual meals. Adjacent is a convenient laundry room fitted with a second dishwasher, two washing machines and three tumble dryers.

For more formal dining, step into the stately dining room adorned with exquisite hand-painted Chinoiserie walls and a grand 14-seat table. If you prefer to dine without lifting a finger, our Guest Services team can arrange a private chef to cater for special occasions.
After a delicious meal, unwind in the elegant drawing room, designed to accommodate your whole group around a roaring open fire, with antique décor and captivating artwork enhancing the atmosphere.

Upstairs, five uniquely decorated bedrooms await, each brimming with charm and comfort. Two of the super-king-size rooms include en-suite shower rooms, while another two super-king-size rooms and a twin room share access to the luxurious family bathroom.
The separate cottage houses a dedicated games room, a true haven for entertainment. It features a log burner for toasty evenings, comfortable sofas, bean bags, and a Smart TV complete with DVD player, Wii, and GameCube consoles. A selection of board games and table tennis ensures fun for all ages, especially younger guests.

Outside, the estate’s enchanting grounds, recently approved for inclusion in the National Garden Scheme, offer a wealth of space to relax and explore. Enjoy the swimming pool, tennis court, and five-a-side football pitch, or gather for alfresco meals in the ample outdoor seating areas. A collection of complimentary bicycles is available in the oak garage for rides around the estate or into the nearby Thetford Forest.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 for weekends and £750 for week-long stays.
