The best things to do in Abersoch

With six circular walks, a golf course, and an array of watersports, there’s lots to get up to in Abersoch. You won’t be short of inspiration for your sand castles either with three fortresses and a Roman fort nearby. 

Fancy a round of golf? You’ll struggle to keep your eyes on the green at Abersoch Golf Course which offers far-reaching views of Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian mountains. 

For a change of scenery, the Snowdon Mountain Railway Station is under an hour’s drive away. Jump aboard and enjoy the views as you trundle towards the summit. If you’re up for the challenge, you could walk up and take the train back down.

All of that fresh sea air builds quite the appetite, so when you’re ready there’s a broad range of restaurants, pubs and bistros serving everything from seafood to pizza.
