This beautifully renovated barn is adorned with a grand triple-height ceiling, exposed stone walls and a warm and welcoming living space that can only be described as the heart of the home. A collection of sumptuous sofas invites you to relax and unwind with a book in hand from the extensive library, or you can simply enjoy your favourite movie on the Smart TV with the ambience of the wood-burning stove in your midst.

Meanwhile, the fully-equipped kitchen is complete with an electric Aga, an American-style fridge/freezer and an espresso coffee machine. Whether planning your next adventure or savouring a delicious feast, the farmhouse dining table creates a sociable space for all ten guests.

There are five uniquely designed bedrooms spread across three floors. On the ground floor there is a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and its very own sunroom which spills out onto a private terrace and lawn. On the first floor, there’s a super-king bedroom with a connected family bathroom. Meanwhile, the family suite is complete with a super-king-size bed, an en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom above it. On the third floor, there is a further twin bedroom.

Outside, there’s a large, decked area with a luxury hot tub, an outdoor dining area and a BBQ. The views extend across the unspoilt valley and provide the perfect backdrop for alfresco meals or a morning coffee. As the sun starts to set, gather around the chiminea for a cosy evening beneath the stars.

You will have access to a host of on-site leisure facilities that are shared by guests of all cottages:

The grounds

There are 16 acres of stunning grounds to explore along with dog walking fields. Amble through the meadows and stop off at the kitchen garden and greenhouse to choose a little something to go with your delicious alfresco lunch.
The grounds also provide combined a 5-aside football pitch, a badminton and grass tennis court, croquet, boules, cricket and a putt golf course.

Swimming pool and games room

Take a dip in the indoor heated swimming pool or head to the games room where you will find an abundance of toys and games, plus a soft play area for little ones aged 5 years old and under. For outdoor fun, there is an adventure playground with swings, slides and a climbing frame.

On-site activities

Discover The Lookout for some relaxation, practice yoga on the mats provided and enjoy the estate’s stunning viewpoint. Or you can enjoy a fun aqua aerobics session in the heated swimming pool.

Farm animals

There are over 50 animals on-site to visit including chickens, alpacas, goats, sheep and piglets.

The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £750 prior to their stay.

The barn is located in the picturesque Devon countryside, posing many pretty walking routes close by for you and your four-legged friends to explore. The Exmoor National Park is particularly stunning with its dramatic coastline, stretching from Minehead in the east to Combe Martin in the west.

There are many beautiful beaches to visit in North Devon, with the nearest being Combe Martin Beach, just 2 miles away. Barricane Beach, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are also great for days spent strolling through the sand, going for a dip in the sea or relaxing in the sunshine.
