Set on two levels, this magnificent house offers a unique blend of contemporary design and antique décor to encapsulate the history of the property.

Your journey begins with a five-acre walled garden that is swathed in seasonal blooms and ancient yew trees. When the sun is shining, enjoy full use of the private tennis court, a round of croquet on the lawn or a spot of golf on the two-hole pitching range. When the sky fills with stars, gather around the warming fire pit for an evening of relaxation and chatter. You will also have access to 60 acres of private grounds which you are welcome to explore at any time of year.

The main living space is entered through glass sliding doors, which span the entire width of the room and allow an abundance of natural light. The room comprises two inviting sofas, four armchairs and a grand piano. Relax here with your favourite book in hand or reminisce good memories in front of the 1960s fireplace.

Meanwhile, the modern kitchen and service kitchen are accessed via a separate doorway and provide everything you will need to prepare delicious banquets including an AGA, a dishwasher, an electric induction hob, a gas cooker and a microwave. There is also a two-seater breakfast bar, a ten-seater dining table and Smart TV. For a more formal affair, head to the grand dining room which features a large antique dining table with seating up to 12.

Next door, the TV/playroom offers a casual space to relax and unwind. Here, you will have access to beanbags, a large sofa, board games and a Smart TV. Meanwhile, the games room provides hours of fun with a snooker table, dart board and table tennis.

There are six beautifully designed bedrooms, each adorned with timeless antiques, luxurious soft furnishings and stunning garden views. On the ground floor, the master bedroom features a super-king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a separate shower room. Meanwhile, there are three further king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, one with an en-suite shower room and one with an adjacent bath and shower room accessed via the corridor. The final two bedrooms are on the first floor and feature a king-size bed and two single beds with a shared shower room in between.

The owners will greet you on arrival and show you into the property.

The house has wide doors which provide easy access for guests as well as ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £1000 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Keen golfers can enjoy a range of historic golf courses in North Berwick and East Lothian which is known as Scotland’s Golf Coast. There are 12 courses within 20 minutes of the house which is ideal for a family day out.
