The Damson Barn

This characterful barn conversion has been carefully designed to create a warm and relaxing countryside retreat. Accessed via external stairs, the upper floor forms the heart of the property, featuring a bright and airy open-plan living space with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Comfortable sofas surround a cosy log burner, creating the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the countryside, while the Smart TV and dining space provide everything needed for relaxed evenings indoors.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays, complete with modern appliances, generous workspace, and all the essentials for preparing family meals or leisurely breakfasts. Large Velux windows fill the space with natural light.

The bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to create calm and restful spaces, with soft neutral interiors, comfortable bedding, and charming countryside touches throughout. The double bedroom offers a cosy and peaceful retreat, while the twin room is ideal for children, friends, or additional guests. A spacious family bathroom featuring a jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower adds an extra touch of comfort and luxury to your stay.

The ground floor is dedicated to exclusive leisure facilities, giving guests sole use of a beautifully designed indoor swimming pool and steam room. Comfortable loungers, changing facilities, shower, and WC create a private spa-like environment ideal for unwinding throughout your stay.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private seating area with a rattan fire pit table and outdoor dining space.

Also included is The Highland Hideaway, a handcrafted shepherd’s hut set in its own secluded area overlooking open countryside and grazing Highland cattle. Inside, the hut features cosy seating, a kitchenette, and en-suite shower room, while outside you’ll find a private hot tub, sunbathing area, fire pit, BBQ and outdoor dining space. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or soaking under the stars, the Hideaway adds an extra layer of luxury and privacy to your stay.

The barn sits within a peaceful working smallholding, offering guests a truly immersive countryside experience while still maintaining privacy and comfort throughout.
