Enter the barn and you will instantly feel the elegant opulence. Two grand chandeliers, that once hung in the London showroom of fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood, are suspended from the ceiling in the open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. There are nods to the building’s past too, with exposed ceiling beams and brickwork.
At the heart of the open-place layout is the large weathered oak dining table, the perfect place to gather for family meals or relaxed dinner parties with friends.
The lounge area has plenty of comfortable sofa seating and accent armchairs where you can unwind in front of the Smart TV that is housed within the media wall that runs along the entire wall of one end of the barn. There’s also a speaker system and even a record player too. Plus, if you need to check in with work, there’s a separate desk area.
Meanwhile, the fully equipped kitchen is a sophisticated charcoal colour that pops against the standout copper wall and granite worktops. There’s everything you will need to self-cater including an oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
There is also a ground floor cloakroom/WC.
The property has three bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a master with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom/wet room with a walk-in shower and roll-top bath. Upstairs on the first floor, tucked into the eaves, are two more bedrooms. One has a king-size bed, the other has two single beds and they share a family shower room. All the bathrooms feature a heated towel rail too.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden for children and furry friends to get some fresh air. There is also a BBQ and pizza oven, a dining area shaded beneath a pergola and a hot tub, plus the most incredible countryside views. It’s a superb spot for lunch alfresco or evening drinks as the day turns to dusk.
