On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with space to hang your coats and store your boots. The heart of the home is the large, open-plan kitchen/dining/living space with a hand painted kitchen and island with a breakfast bar, plus luxuries including two ovens, a wine fridge, an instant boiling water tap and a coffee maker.

Gather around the large dining table, with seating for eight, for meals as you chat about the highlights of the day. From the dining area, there are huge bi-fold doors leading to the garden – bringing the outdoors in.

The living space also includes a lounge area with comfortable sofa seating, a Smart TV and a log burner for that extra kick of heat and cosiness on cooler evenings.

There is also the convenience of a utility room and a downstairs shower room with WC that is ideal for cleaning up sand-covered kids after a fun day at the beach.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms. The master has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, while two further king-size bedrooms include one that can be split into two singles by prior arrangement. There is also a twin bedroom with two single beds. Some of the bedrooms even offer glimpses of the sea. The bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.

Outside, there is a landscaped garden with outdoor seating and furniture for relaxing, dining and entertaining.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The property has electric and solar power central heating.

We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

The neighbourhood

The property is located on a private road and is just steps from Beadnell Bay. The beach is family-friendly and dog-friendly with a clean, shallow bay perfect for paddling, swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing and paddleboarding. Beadnell also has its own sailing club. From the bay, there are beautiful views across to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster.

If you like bracing walks in the salty air, follow the coastal path to Newton or Seahouses. From Seahouses you can take a boat trip to the nearby Farne Islands in search of sea birds, seals and dolphins. Wildlife-lovers may also like Holy Island and Budle Bay.
