The property begins with a double-height living space, beautifully appointed with a carefully curated art collection, exposed Lakeland-stone walls and oak beams, creating a cosy ski-chalet vibe throughout.

The main living room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, is the focal point of this stunning home. Relax and socialise on the sumptuous sofas with the ambient sound of the crackling Stuv wood burner, or retreat to the snug for a quiet read with the glistening lake as your backdrop.

Meanwhile, the chef of the group will love preparing delicious feasts in the fully-equipped kitchen. Complete with all the mod cons, including three cookers, a Quooker tap and Gaggenau appliances, you’ll have everything you could wish for. When your feast is ready to enjoy, gather around the rustic green-oak breakfast table, or for a more formal affair, head to the 12-seater dining table to wine and dine together.

There are multiple rooms with entertainment for the whole group to enjoy, including an impressive cinema room and a games room with an 8ft pool table, books and a Peloton.

The ground floor is complete with a handy boot room with Hunter wellies, a laundry room and a shower.

Head up the glass staircase to the first floor where you will find five luxurious en-suite bedrooms, four of which have lake views and three with balconies. All of the bedrooms have king-size ViSpring beds, while two can be made up as twins on request.

Outside, you will have access to an acre of gardens, a terrace for dining, and a jetty with direct access to Lake Windermere. Kayaks and paddle boards can be rented at nearby Bowness if you’re feeling adventurous.
